Dr. Alex white
Dr. Alex White is our faculty advisor. He is a professor in the Dairy Science department, teaching Dairy Enterprise Management, Entrepreneurship in Animal Agriculture, and Advanced Dairy Management Evaluation (with Dr. Gonzalo Ferreira). He also teaches Personal Financial Planning.
He grew up on a beef farm in Maryland, and was active in 4-H. He received his B.S from Virginia Tech, pursued his MS in Ag Econ at Ohio State, and then returned to Virginia Tech for his PhD. He has taught college courses at a variety of colleges over 25 years before becoming a full time professor in the Dairy Department in 2016.

Dr. karen brown
Karen graduated from Virginia Tech and is an Alumni of our chapter. She is currently a working veterinarian at a practice right here in Blacksburg.
Kacie seymour
Kacie graduated just over a year ago! She used to be our president and was also our fundraising chair. Right now she is attending graduate school at Tech so she is still always around in Litton Reeves!
